Just came here on June 14th 2025 and it is still SOME OF THE BEST MEXICAN FOOD!! NO FREAKING JOKE!! Me and my wife are staying at the Best Western down the street and we needed some food. We drove in from San Diego so we were hungry. I googled Mexican food in this place popped up. I saw the reviews and I was like I got to give this place a try. We pull up and it is connected to a gas station You would not think that this place would have some of the best Mexican food ever but it does. Do not be afraid to walk into this place, Yes from the outside it looks like a hole in a wall and it kind of is however when you walk in the place is nice, very clean, and you are greeted by a smiling face. We sat down at a booth my wife had the shrimp ceviche tostada and you could basically make three tostadas from one order of ceviche that's how big it was. I tasted her ceviche and oh my god it was so amazing and a flavorful. We both loved it. I ordered a burrito called El Perro... This burrito is one of the best burritos I've ever tasted in my life. It had a chile relleno in it, with grilled cheese and carne asada. Now this was not any ordinary carne asada It tasted like it came off a grill not a flat top. The Carne asada had a subtle smokey flavor and was very tasty. Some of the best carne asada I've tasted. The food was so good that the next day which is today Sunday We came for breakfast! My wife had the green chilaquiles with carne asada and I had the huevos rancheros both of these dishes were so delicious. And the beans I love freaking beans these beans were so so so good.. You can tell everything is made in house.. I asked our waitress when they opened and she said about a year ago. This place is legit. If you want some of the best Mexican food come down to this place. We will definitely be coming back

A true oasis in the desert. Clearly marked trails and breathtaking panoramic views combine to make an exceptional experience. Camping and swimming at the trailhead.

Happen to pull off the frwy at the mega off with the usual fast food... googled food near me and Dino’s came up with great reviews! Didn’t read that it was at a truck stop! Almost skipped it but pulled up the reviews again! So just what I wanted a delicious burrito! The El Perron with the anaheim chili was so yummy! Loved the salsa perfect for a saucy gal like me!

Were a bit skeptical of the high rating of a restaurant sharing a building with a gas station. But they did not disappoint! Had an amazing burrito, on the waitress’s recommendation I ordered the El Peron, and it was truly amazing. Highly recommended!

We stopped for lunch not knowing what to expect particularly as we drove up and saw the restaurant was connected to a gas station and was unimpressive. Well, once inside, it was totally different. Friendly staff, delicious food - what more can I say! A great meal!

Overview: Mexican diner... large menu. Store front parking. Meal/Time: Lunch/Saturday 1256PMSeated:1256 PM Ordered: 105PM First ordered item arrived: 113PM Decor/Atmosphere: Mexican diner. Spanish music playing fits the atmosphere. Ceiling fans keeps the temperature comfortable. The clientele was local. Service/ Front of the House: Seat yourself Service/Serving Staff: wonderful friendly young lady. She was working out front by herself. She dropped off menus and some chips and salsa. Food: Salsa and chips - salsa is fresh with a bit of heat. Really crispy chips. Lengua Burrito - one of the best Burrito I ever had. You can taste every component. The earthiness of the cilantro and pop and freshness of the onions. The tongue is well chopped so you get tender mortals with every bite. Value: good value for the price Restroom: 1 very roomy unisex. Very clean. Well stocked. Really really roomy. Will I come back?: This is a local gem. I would definitely come back when I am in the area again.

Upon arrival I was bit concerned it was attached to a gas station but ignore the gas station, the restaurant is just perfect. Local, family owned, & very friendly. My carnitas tacos were the best I’ve ever had & my girlfriend’s tacos Camron were excellent too. The shrimp were fried so be aware of that. I’d have posted photos but I couldn’t wait to dig in they smelled so good! Oh, & the house salsa with chips were excellent too! Highly recommended.

So me and my friends just touched down in Indio and we wanted some where to grab a quick bite. I found Dino on Google. When we first pulled up we was like we don't know because it was at a GAS station but let me tell you it was so GOOD !! So don't judge it by the look on the outside! It is very clean and the woman who served us was so sweet!
